Job Description:
ProMedica Toledo Hospital is one of the largest acute-care

Ohio to receive this honor. -The rapid response RN has advanced
clinical expertise through education and experience. - The rapid
response RN assesses and stabilizes the patient condition. - Rapid
response RN collaborates with direct care givers to organized
clinical information for communication to the patient's provider.
-ACCOUNTABILITIES1. - Rounds on all patients transferred out of the
ICU within the last 48 hours. -2. - Rounds on all patients who are
known to be clinically compromised.3. - Assists the staff member is
assessing and stabilizing the patient's condition.4. - Assists the
staff member in organizing clinical data to be communicated to the
patient's provider.5. - Assists with patient transfer to a higher
level of care.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or be working towards
a degree (must complete the degree within 5 years).
- Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond
to inquiries, requires effective interpersonal skills. - Must be
able to input and retrieve information from computer.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years current experience in critical
care, emergency room or advanced practice role.
- Must be licensed in the State of Ohio to practice as a
Registered Nurse. - -
- Must maintain BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certification. -PREFERRED
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Master's Degree in Nursing
- CCRN, TNCC or ENA - -Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)---
Demonstrates knowledge and use of standard precautions and PPE.---
Demonstrates knowledge and use of safe patient handling equipment.
-Physical Demands--- Must be able to tolerate exposure to dust,
fumes, chemicals, temperature changes, and exposure to blood borne
pathogens and bodily fluids.--- Must be able to attain all health
requirements as identified by the organization (i.e., PPD,
respirator training, vaccines, as appropriate). ---- Must be able
to move about hospital and between workstations, and prolonged
periods of standing. - **--- Must be able to frequently move, lift
or carry light to heavy patients or equipment. **--- Must be able
to lift medium materials, non-material handling; continuous
standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching; frequent
pushing, pulling, and squatting.
