OverviewThe Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. • Has Wound Care experience, but not required
• Certification as a CWS/CWON/CWOCN preferred but not required
• Special interests / training in vascular, wound, podiatry, ostomy
• Is a confident, outgoing practitioner
• Knows team collaboration and flexibility a must -Jobst Vascular / ProMedica Wound -Care -operates 8 Wound Care Clinics across our system. -Both full-time and part-time clinics are supported as well as ostomy clinics, and nurse clinics for compression dressing changes and wound dressing care. -We provide inpatient rounding and care to our Metro hospitals. - -Additionally we provide wound care services to skilled nursing and long term care facilities through-out our region. - -We support a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary team which includes, Vascular Surgery, Vascular Medicine, General Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Podiatry, -Infectious Disease, and Wound Care Specialists to provider comprehensive care to our patients -Advantages of this opportunity:
  • Work in the Jobst Vascular Institute, a nationally renowned Center of Excellence on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital, the largest acute care facility in the region and the anchor institution of ProMedica's 12 -acute care facilities.
  • Work as part of a collaborative team that includes 30 wound care providers across the system. -
  • Be part of a team that operates at 12 -ProMedica hospitals and clinics in northwest Ohio and southern Michigan
  • Membership in ProMedica Physicians Group, the region's largest multi-specialty group, with more than 1200 employed providers offering an excellent referral base.
  • Engage in clinical, educational and research opportunities with the Jobst Vascular Institute, the University of Toledo as well as the University of Michigan. -Nurse Practitioner:
    • Masters of nursing (MSN) degree.
    • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
    • Wound Care experience preferred
    • Certification as a CWS/CWON/CWOCN preferred but not required
    • Special interests / training in vascular, wound, podiatry, ostomy
    • Current CPR certification required.
    • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
    • Must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment toward achieving customer/patient satisfaction.
    • Post offer pre-employment required to include tobacco / drug screen / nicotine testing -Physician Assistant
      • Masters -degree -
      • Must be licensed or license eligible in the state of Ohio
        • PA-C
        • Certificate of Authority to practice is required.
        • Current CPR certification required.
        • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • Demonstrated excellent organizational skills.
