Job Description:

Join a team of compassionate professionals caring for adolescent clients with eating disorders. FT Night Shift available in a residential and home- like facility with a slower pace than acute care. 12 hour shifts (6pm-6am), and every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays.
At Toledo Center for Eating Disorders, our treatment philosophy is designed to provide safe, compassionate care for those who are suffering from an eating disorder. The Staff Nurse will work as part of a collaborative and compassionate team in a modern, spacious and tranquil setting. The Nurse provides general medical care for clients of Toledo Center under the direct supervision of the medical team. General tasks include medical assessments, medication administration, documentation of physician orders, client observation and medical record reviews.
Essential Responsibilities:

• Completes admission assessments and screenings while assisting each new client with their transition to the Toledo Center for Eating Disorders.
• Maintains appropriate professional interaction with all clients and assists with crisis intervention.
• Performs daily nursing assessment, medication administration, collects and documents client data.
• Updates client treatment plan as appropriate with the collaboration of the treatment team.
• Practices appropriate use of universal precautions and maintains a sanitary environment.
• Ensures the security of client PHI.
• Determines if there are unhealthy/unsafe conditions in the work area and reports these conditions to the proper personnel.
• Provides thorough shift report when completing nurse handoff.ISJP123Active Ohio Nursing License (RN)Other Requirements:Position requires incumbent to have a valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
