Job Description:
The Industrial Strategy (IS) Facilities Systems Product/Process
Specialist will lead projects in design and cost estimation of
Facilities systems for Propulsion Plants as indicated by
requirements in the Long Range Plan. This will include
Building/Construction, Filtration, Mist/Dust collection, and all
other equipment as required for new model launches in North
America, Canada, and Mexico. The role of this Specialist will be to
apply Process Standards developed by the Underbody Process
Engineering (UPE) group to develop proposals for new product
introductions, including process design, layout, and cost
estimations (Capital, Tooling, and Expense). Job responsibilities
include but are not limited to: The IS Facilities Specialist will
be responsible for the application of UPE standards and
specifications focused on : Developing Process Cost Estimates
Developing Concept Layouts and Representations Performing Product
Feasibility Analyses Identifying DTM Opportunities to improve key
KPI’s (Cost, Quality, and Throughput) Preparation of process
proposal documents for handoff to UPE team for execution after
