Job Description:
This opening is within the Design Office Fabrication Shop
located at the Stellantis Headquarters located in Auburn Hills,
Michigan. It involves interfacing with multiple disciplines, i.e.,
engineers, designers, and cross-function team members while
participating in all fabrication related activities and
assignments. Such activities include but are not limited to
developing interior and exterior bucks/armatures according to
electronic CAD data, on a surface plate with a full understanding
of the x, y and z grid system. The ability to execute structural
carpentry, prepping and surfacing hard models and parts (new,
aftermarket and prototype) for show quality paints and other
finishes. Adapting new and aftermarket parts to existing /
prototype vehicles. An understanding of auto mechanics. A full
skill set for the application of paints and other show
finishes.
