SummaryThis position assists in the creation of strategic and
tactical plans for the automated facility opening they are
assigned. They will support and enhance the sortation, methods, and
work measurement for the automated facility. This position assists
to manage corporate, region, zone and district level peak season
and other special operating plan volume guidance to provide
accurate planning for workforce, equipment planning, and capacity
needs. They will develop internal metrics to identify areas of
improvement that have a high impact on the automated facility
performance. The supervisor in this position will act as a liaison
to make sure partner functions (i.e., Corporate IE Automation
[CIEA], Operations, Building and Systems Engineering [BaSE],
Industrial Engineering [IE], and Information Systems/Technology
Support Group/ASX/ATC) are aware of, and in agreement with, any
changes to the automated systems. This position supervises the
deployment of new technologies and communicates changes made to
their automated facility.Responsibilities:
