Job Purpose:
You will have the opportunity to assist in the development of process parameters and data used in establishing operating standards for manufacturing methods. You will drive testing and analysis to establish new practices and assist in optimizing processes and troubleshooting manufacturing problems as necessary. You will control procedures and documentation, all while being part of an ambitious team to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
Essential Functions:
Leads the process evaluation to help optimize product quality and productivity, directs planning and implementing new projects, maintains appropriate documentation for process, assumes responsibility for establishing effective communication, coordination, and working relationships with staff personnel, customers, and management.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Material Science is required
Experience Required:

  • Experience in Carbon/Graphite Processing and Characterization highly beneficial
    
    
    
  • 
    Experience with Statistical Process Control and Continuous Improvement
    
    
  • 
    Certified in Quality Improvement techniques (Six Sigma DMAIC or 8D Practical Problem Solving)
