Description: St. Anthony of Padua Lorain seeks an innovative,
faith-centered 5th grade teacher committed to academic excellence
and student growth. The ideal candidate is collaborative,
growth-minded, and skilled at building positive relationships with
students, families, and staff. Key Responsibilities: Teach core
subjects and help students meet state standards and 21st-century
learning goals. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and
authentic learning experiences. Use technology, evidence-based
instruction, and ongoing assessment to enhance student achievement.
Support intervention and remediation in math, science, and
literacy. Foster a positive, collaborative classroom environment
that supports students' academic, social, and emotional
development. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and
colleagues. Participate in professional development and collaborate
within a Professional Learning Community (PLC). Maintain accurate
records, uphold classroom management standards, attend required
meetings, and support school leadership initiatives. Reports to the
Building Principal and performs additional duties as assigned.
