Job Description:

The primary site of inpatient care services is at the University of Toledo Medical Center, but many of our physicians' practice at hospitals and medical offices throughout the region.

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the Epic Compass Rose and Health Planet needs of the organization through project coordination, application implementation, development, upgrades and ongoing maintenance and enhancements.

Serve as the primary organizational support for Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose.
Analyze and test applicable new software and software upgrades.
Work with business and clinical stakeholders and other technical experts to implement population health and analytics tools within Epic and other business intelligence platforms.
Employ analytical skills to implement design decisions, build system components via build tools, and complete system testing. This includes workflows for Care Management, creating new Care Management programs, updating quality metrics criteria, and maintaining/enhancing provider Quality Dashboards.
Perform population health reporting and help drive population health strategy for a highly complex patient population.
Represent the Department of Value-Based Care at internal and external meetings.
Respond to all requests according to department standards.
Provide strong project management and problem-solving skills to creatively develop data solutions.
Participate in data collection and documentation of strategy to help make business decisions.
Communicate project status and upgrades to users, including any potential delays/downtime related to the application(s).
Organize, schedule, run meetings and distribute meeting notes.
Interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in one-on-one and group settings.
Perform routine and ad hoc reporting within Epic that supports physician leadership and the Value-Based Care department.

# Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Data Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, Public Health or relevant area. Other areas of specialization will be considered with applicable experience in healthcare.
# License and/or Certification: Epic Healthy Planet and Compass Rose Certifications
# Skills :
# Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
# Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other desktop analytics tools.
# Experience with EPIC EMR.
# Competence in analysis and troubleshooting.
# Understanding of healthcare terminology and operations.
# Strong attention to detail and ability to complete work accurately and on time.
# Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

- Years of Experience : 1+ years of experience

# Education : Master's Degree in Business Administration, Data Systems, Information Technology, Data Science, Public Health, or related field. Other areas of specialization will be considered with applicable experience in healthcare.
# License and/or Certification: NA
# Skills :
# Knowledge of care management workflows.
# Knowledge of embedded behavioral health workflows.
# Advanced knowledge of Epic.
# Caboodle or Cogito Certifications.

- Years of Experience : 2+ years' experience in healthcare data analytics and working with Epic EMR.
