Job Description:

The GEE Group has partnered with a growing client in search of a Staff Accountant! As a Staff Accountant, your primary responsibility will be to acquire and apply technical skills while collaborating with your team to accomplish accounting tasks. You will work closely with our client's Senior Accountants and management team to learn about the industry and grow your accounting skillset. -

Requirements:
Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, or related field
Responsibilities:


Gain a comprehensive understanding of assigned work, including its purpose, execution methods, and required knowledge.
Continuously enhance technical skills through on-the-job experience and formal learning opportunities.
Collaborate effectively as an integral team member, contributing to the completion of project components and assigned tasks.
Maintain proactive communication with the assigned team member, providing regular updates on engagement status and meeting deadlines.
Strive to complete engagements within allocated time limits, aligning with budgetary considerations. In the event of time overruns, engage in open discussions with the assigning team member to address the reasons.
Actively seek to acquire knowledge about client businesses, fostering a deeper understanding.
Thoroughly and accurately document work performed in a manner that is efficient and organized.
Timely identification and reporting of task issues and progress, ensuring transparency and effective resolution.
Foster strong team relationships by actively building and cultivating interpersonal skills.
