Job Description:

We have an opening in our Maintenance Division for a hardworking Maintenance Assistance. You will be working in support of all departments throughout the park during the operating season. Your primary responsibility will be keeping the park clean for our guests. In winter, you will be responsible for snow removal. This is a Union position.

• Operate various types of equipment including forklift, man lifts, front end loader, air compressor, concrete saws, and drills.
• Unload material and equipment for other trades when received.
• Transport trash to landfill.
• Operate sweepers of various sizes to clean parking lots and park areas.
• Provide excellent guest service according to Cedar Fair standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned work area.
• Meet scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Adhere to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards.
• Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license and CDL required
  • Experience operating gradall and forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and in a group setting
  • Ability to work various shifts/days
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass mandatory drug tests and background checks per company policy.
